Description
Hydrocare
Ultra-stabilized hydrogen peroxide.
Slow-release effect that eliminates biofilm to the end of the pipeline. Eliminates bacteria, viruses, yeasts, and fungi, even when they hide
in the biofilm. Use during empty and operational barns. Safe for humans, animals, materials, and the environment.
Product specifications:
Intra Hydrocare contains 590 g/l of stabilized hydrogen peroxide to ensure
the slow-release effect and optimize biocidal efficacy. Intra Hydrocare is registered in Europe for the following types of use:
PT02: Disinfectants and other biocidal products for private and public areas
public health
PT03: Biocidal products for veterinary hygiene
PT04: Disinfectants for food and feed
PT05: Disinfectants for drinking water
Protocol and use
Intra Hydrocare can be used for 2 purposes: cleaning and maintenance. The dosage to use depends on several factors, such as the quality of the incoming water and whether the barn is empty or animals are present.
POULTRY
Cleaning with Intra Hydrocare in an empty barn
Fill the drinking system with a 1 to 3% solution (1 to 3 liters of Intra Hydrocare per 100 liters of water).
The product has an autonomous effervescent action, so brushing is not necessary. After filling all the pipes, also fill the drinking nipples, cups, or towers to treat the entire system. Ensure that there is always an air leak in the drinking system. Allow the solution to stand for at least 12 hours, then rinse the entire system, including the drinking nipples, cups, and towers, with clean water.
Cleaning with Intra Hydrocare in an operational barn
If necessary, the system can be treated while the animals are present. Start with a dosage of 0.010% (= 100 ml of Intra Hydrocare per 1000 liters of water) for 5 days.
If necessary, increase the dosage by 50 ml every two days until the maximum dosage of 0.020% is reached (= 200 ml of Intra Hydrocare per 1000 liters of water).
Depending on the amount and type of contamination, this method will take approx. 10 days. If water/food consumption changes, the dosage should be reduced. In the event of severe biofilm/pathogenic bacteria contamination, water analysis is recommended, along with an initial system cleaning when the animals are absent.
Maintenance with Intra Hydrocare
Polluted incoming water: dose 0.0030 – 0.0050% (= 30 – 50 ml Intra Hydrocare per 1000 litres of water) every day.
Correct incoming water: dose 0.010 – 0.015% (=100-150 ml Intra Hydrocare per 1000 litres of water) 1 – 2 day(s) per week.
PIG
Cleaning and disinfection of drinking systems in empty barns: Use an Intra Hydrocare concentration of 1 to 3% and leave it in the drinking water system overnight. Make sure there is always an air leak in the drinking system.
Cleaning Empty house
10-12 hours 1-3% solution
Animals present for 10-14 days: Use 100 ml / 1,000 litres.
If necessary, continue with 100 ml / 1,000 litres until the system is clean.
In the event of severe biofilm/pathogenic bacteria contamination, water analysis is recommended, along with an initial system cleaning while the animals are absent.
Safety instructions
Make sure there is always an air leak in the drinking system while cleaning the system.
Please note that 1 L of Intra Hydrocare produces 200 L of oxygen. Wear gloves and safety goggles when using Intra Hydrocare.
Tips
Water quality can be easily measured with the Intra Clean Quick Scan. If you want to check whether the Intra Hydrocare dosage is still effective at the end of the pipeline, measure the water with Intracare peroxide test strips.
A heavily polluted system will show no active peroxide at the end of the pipeline, meaning that the dosage must be increased. After cleaning the drinking water lines overnight, drain the wastewater into a white bucket to see the pollution coming out of the lines.
